Olga Tsimourta, as the Sugarplum Fairy, gracefully performs a welcoming
dance as she magically assembles her court to greet Clara. Olga,
Queen of the Land of Sweets, is our guest dancer from the Joffrey
Ballet School in New York. Olga participated in the International
Ballet Competition in Varna, Bulgaria, where she was the winner
of the National Dance Competition. She also competed in London,
England as a dance representative for Greece. She received a 2 year
scholarship from The Aristotelis Onassis Foundation and joined the
Joffrey Ballet School Trainee Program. Olga has the opportunity
to perform in Etudes, Suite En Blanc, Ravel’s Bolero, Giselle
and Sleeping Beauty.
